The Registrar of the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) issued three operators with its Notices of Monetary Penalty. The penalty was issued because operators violated the Standards for Internet gaming related to game integrity. AGCO wanted to protect the gamblers and gamers in the province, and that led to the actions against three famous operators.

Bunchberry Limited, Mobile Incorporated Limited, and LeoVegas Gaming PLC offered to the audience from Ontario the games that AGCO and Independent Testing Laboratory (ITL) haven’t approved, which violated Standards 4.08 and 4.09.

The Entertainment Software Association has announced 15 more companies that will participate in the all-digital E3 2021 event that’s coming up next month.

The 15 additional companies include Razer, Intellivision, Yooreka Studio, Tastemakers, NetEase, 24 Entertainment, Norton Gaming, GuliKit, and SK Telecom. Six independent game developers have also been added to the list of participants, including Burgos Games, Dreamteck, Ghost Street Games, Hooded Horse, The Sixth Hammer, New Blood Interactive.

These 15 new participants join a list of previously announced companies like Nintendo, Xbox, Capcom, Ubisoft, Take-Two, Warner Bros., Square Enix, Sega, Bandai Namco, and Gearbox.

Registration for E3 2021 opens to the general public on June 3. A full programming schedule for the four-day event is expected to be released in “early June,” so keep checking back with GameSpot for more.

2042 sure does seem like a long time from now, but Microsoft seems adamant that Xbox will still exist then. In partnership with EA to promote Battlefield 2042, the company has released a “trailer” for Xbox 21 years in the future, and it sure does look fancy.

“Imagine a gaming experience indistinguishable from reality,” Microsoft threatens in the video. We see footage of a variety of potential games, including a military shooter, cowboy game, and a football game, and it says the whole experience is “powered by quantum technology” and supports “1 quintillion floating-point operations per second.”
